The digital media immersion workshops are designed to teach executives about different types of digital and social media platforms through actual experience and in-depth research around what consumers actually do (not what technology is being hyped). A 360 Digital Media Workshop takes a complete approach to both the topic and learning environment. From a topical perspective, we offer the opportunity to learn about how all the different parts of the media ecosystem work together. From a classroom approach, this means not only teaching, but providing a hands on experience with real work follow up so participants not only learn, but internalize what they’ve learned through real world, practical experience.
Each 360 Digital Media Workshop contains the following:
- Pre-seminar preparation so all participants arrive with at least the basic knowledge of the topic. This allows the seminar to skips the ABCs and focus on accelerating the learning process.
- An Immersive seminar that both focuses on understanding the digital media component being taught but also provides hands on user experience.
- A follow up ongoing project that has participants actually using their classroom knowledge in the real world. This ensures the lesson is internalized and adds invaluable real world experience to theoretical classroom knowledge.
- An ongoing virtual classroom with email lists/discussion boards, resources and Q&As for participants that want to continue learning not only from experience, but from each others’ experience.
